・In Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, outbreaks of new coronavirus-related pneumonia have been reported since December 2019, and cases have been reported from around the world, especially in China.
To citizens of Nagasaki Prefecture
・Please do not worry too much and try to take measures to prevent infectious diseases such as cough etiquette and hand washing as with seasonal flu.
・If you are returning or entering from Wuhan City to Japan, and you have symptoms such as coughing or fever, please make sure that you wear a mask and contact a medical institution in advance and consult a doctor.
・When consulting a medical institution, please report in advance that you have a history of stay in Wuhan.
・It is time for colds and flu, so please wash your hands with soap and keep cough etiquette.
What is cough etiquette?
・If you cough or sneeze, please wear a mask to stop transferring it to others.
If you don’t have a mask, cover your mouth and nose with a handkerchief, tissue or the inside of your arm and turn your face away from others by at least one meter.
・Tissues containing nasal discharge or sputum should be discarded immediately in the trash, and hands should be washed immediately if you cover your mouth and nose with the palm of your hand when you cough or sneeze.
・Ask the person who is coughing to wear a mask.
